3 days in New York, day 1

A wonderful Thursday to all of you guys!

As promised I am not done yet with sharing my U.S., Manhattan impressions with you! This October we spent 3 days in this amazing part of the world and just had the greatest time.

When we arrived at the Greyhound Bus Terminal we decided to go right away to China town. As some of you might know,  Javier and I met in China and therefore this country will always be special to the two of us.

New York, day 1 chinatownWe are both also big fans of the TV show friends and due to their 20s anniversary the famous Central Perks coffee shop opened in real time in NYC. So of course we needed to check it out.

…But as you might be able to tell from the picture, there was a huge line in front of the coffee shop. It was said to be 5 hours!! waiting in line to even get inside. I don’t wanna know how much more time we would have needed to wait inside to get a cup of coffee. Therefore we decided to keep walking through downtown towards the original friends apartment building.

And this is it! It looks pretty much the same as in the show and we felt a little bit like visiting Monica’s :).

Afterwards we just kept walking through the city. We got the opportunity to check out a dance-scene being shot for a documentary. We went to Washington Square and simply enjoyed our time.

Thank you all so much for reading today and stay tuned because day 2 is coming up!

I would love to hear your thoughts, comments, ideas! Don't be shy and just get in contact:). Love, Sarah
